Each and every day our staff care from their hearts about our residents, not because it is their job, but because it is their calling in life. When Marjorie, our housekeeper lovingly cleans an apartment like she does for each resident every week, it is with a smile on her face and a song filling the room. When Tiffany folds the laundry to be delivered to residents twice each week, she is meticulous so the people she cares for and about will have wrinkle-free clothes and can always look their best.

As Tor and Nancy and the rest of our dedicated waitstaff serve homemade meals three times each day to our residents, they do so while engaging our residents in conversation and noticing any changes in their regular patterns or routines. When Flo or Mary, Certified Nursing Assistants help residents with their personal care they take the time to talk with them about life and family; their likes and dislikes in order to provide personalized and dignified care.

Our nurses view life from a wellness perspective and work with residents to promote good health. Marissa in the Activity Department knows exactly what appeals to our residents because she knows the residents so well! There is the regular crowd for exercise class each day; the core group that participates in reading and discussion groups; the many who love the entertainment, baking, games and whatever else there is that our residents would like to try!
