Recently, a UMH colleague sent me a weekly online newsletter focusing on kindness, and I began to reflect upon the uplifting power of kindness. I know that I want my life to be a reflection and offering of kindness to those I know and love, to those who are acquaintances, and even to random strangers. March is “American Red Cross Month”, which makes it the perfect time to recognize the work of this valuable organization and its volunteers. The goal of “American Red Cross Month” is to bring awareness to the public so they understand how what they do can help people all over the world.
