Shelton, CT (June 22, 2015) – Beginning this summer, individuals struggling from dementia and other cognitive and physical impairments will now have the opportunity to reconnect with family, friends, and caregivers through Music & Memory, a personalized digital music program to be offered on the Wesley Village Campus.

Middlewoods of Newington Independent and Assisted Living Community was the proud recipient of another “Best of Newington” award for the second year in a row.
For the past eight weeks, residents of Middlewoods of Farmington Independent and Assisted Living Community became “Reading Buddies” for several kindergarten students from Noah Wallace School. Every Thursday afternoon, residents would meet with the young students for 30 minutes and the kindergarteners would read to the residents as part of a learning and literacy experience.
Staff and residents at Middlewoods of Newington Independent & Assisted Living Community recently celebrated the birthday of 102-year old resident, Edna Timpson, on May 23rd.
Wesley Village welcomed volunteers from Unilever during a recent “Day of Caring” on May 20th.
