Staff and residents at Middlewoods of Newington Independent & Assisted Living Community recently celebrated the birthday of 102-year old resident, Edna Timpson, on May 23rd.
The community recognized the centenarian with birthday festivities, lots of birthday hugs, and a special birthday song. Born in Toronto, Canada, Timpson has lived at Middlewoods for over a year and worked as a school teacher throughout her life.
Her hobbies included singing, traveling and square dancing with her husband. She continues to enjoy playing bridge, listening to music, and taking advantage of the full calendar of events and activities at Middlewoods, living life to the fullest even at age 102!
