Middlewoods of Newington Residents Enjoy a Day at the Beach!

News

Newington_Beach_Trip(Newington, CT – July 28, 2015) - Residents and staff of Middlewoods of Newington Assisted and Independent Living Community grabbed their sunglasses and hats for some fun in the sun on Wednesday, July 22nd, heading to Hammonassett Beach State Park for a summer cookout. The group was joined by staff and residents from their sister community, Middlewoods of Farmington, who also made the trip down to the shore. Beach activities and cookout were coordinated by Activities Directors, John Buccini and Ginny Brown and additional staff who helped make the day memorable and fun for all. An ice cream stop at Lenny and Joe’s in Madison was last on the itinerary before heading back home to Middlewoods. Middlewoods of Newington is an award-winning assisted and independent living community affiliated with the UConn Health Center and located at 2125 Main Street in Newington. For more information about the community or to schedule a tour, contact Kathy Braga at 860.667.1336 or visit www.middlewoodsofnewington.org.
