(Newington, CT – July 28, 2015) - Residents and staff of Middlewoods of Newington Assisted and Independent Living Community grabbed their sunglasses and hats for some fun in the sun on Wednesday, July 22nd, heading to Hammonassett Beach State Park for a summer cookout. The group was joined by staff and residents from their sister community, Middlewoods of Farmington, who also made the trip down to the shore. Beach activities and cookout were coordinated by Activities Directors, John Buccini and Ginny Brown and additional staff who helped make the day memorable and fun for all. An ice cream stop at Lenny and Joe’s in Madison was last on the itinerary before heading back home to Middlewoods.
